Wasda implemented the project in Wajir south and north targeting 8330 households each receiving Ksh 3,000 per month. This support has proved to be very effective in reducing vulnerability in the short term intervention.
Currently, Wasda is implementing the second phase which is a recovery initiative that will continue for five cycles starting March – June 2012.
