Meal Specialist

Job Purpose

The Monitoring Evaluation Accountability Learning expert is responsible for the continuous assessment of the performance and quality of the programme with the goal to improve current and future outputs, outcomes and impact. The MEAL Specialist is responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight to the Kenya programme in areas of Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning. The post holder will provide strategic; technical guidance and oversight in different MEAL areas.

Communication Officer

Job Purpose

Communications officers, also known as communications strategists, play a critical role in the establishment and promotion of an organization’s brand. He/she will create, coordinate, and execute communication plans to increase public awareness. He/she will work in the areas of advertising, social media, and media relations. The communications officer, will work closely with all departments to maintain a thorough understanding of programs implemented, as well as identifying the most important information to communicate. You are expected to monitor trends and stay abreast of related developments to ensure the timeliness of the content you produce.

Gender Officer

Job Purpose

The Gender Officer will support the implementation of Gender and protection activities and influence programme teams to apply a gender lens across all implementation, and shape WASDA’s approach in respect to gender integration and mainstreaming. The post holder will work closely with other team members as focal persons for gender issues in all WASDA programmes.

Human Resource Officer

Job Purpose

This role will provide timely and reliable support to the project staff, in terms of: orientation of new staff; payroll management; appraisal process; providing training on policies and procedures; taking part in recruitment process as well implementation of HR initiates and systems.

Project Officer

Job Purpose

The post holder will be responsible for mobilizing; coordinating; reporting and implementing multispectral programme. Will lead a diverse team to realize the objectives of the progarmme. He/she will be responsible for overall supervision and management.

Wash Engineer

Job Purpose

The WASH Engineer will lead the WASH team to carryout implementation of the WASH activities. The main responsibilities will include designing and implementing activities to improve the technical engineering implementation aspects of the WASH sector (program’s water, sanitation and hygiene facilities at the sites). Public Health Officer

Job Purpose

The post holder will work closely and Provide necessary support to WASH Engineer to design, plan and implement technical WASH assessments and studies such as household level questionnaires, focus group discussions, site visits and meetings with key members of community. He/she will also work with the community and CHV’s to implement hygiene and sanitation awareness creation in the community.
